Saints part ways with head coach after dropping important match against Detroit

The Saints organization & Head Coach Matt Breines have mutually agreed that it was in the best interest of the club for Matt to step down from the head coaching position effective immediately. "After a long discussion with Matt, we both thought it was best for the club that he step down. I am grateful for Matt stepping in this year to help us in our transition to the Pro division, but in the end he simply wasn't the right fit. I wish Matt the very best in all he does going forward, as he has been a friend for a long time." -President David Satterwhite

The Saints have appointed Chris Morman as the interim Head Coach for the rest of the 2013-14 PASL season. Chris is a former MISL player for the Milwaukee Wave & Harrisburg Heat. Chris was also the Saints original Head Coach four years ago.

"We are excited to have Chris back at the helm. Hopefully he can turn our season around and get us into the playoffs." - President David Satterwhite

Chris will make his debut this saturday night as the Saints take on his former team the Harrisburg Heat at Tri-County Soccerplex. Kickoff is at 7:30pm.
